Gratitude Journal #49

Today, I am grateful for volunteers who work triathlons. Nick did his third triathlon yesterday, and the volunteers endured hot, humid conditions to make it a special event for all the kids. (Race report with pictures coming up soon.)

Today, I am grateful for the Noodle Dream my husband cooked last night. He made enough to feed us for days. With the addition of the leftovers of the pizza he and Jack made Saturday night, this means I won't have to cook all week!

Today, I am grateful for the time to clean my very messy house.

What are you grateful for today?

  1. Oh, I so agree about volunteers! DD ran a 10k on Saturday night, and did a half-marathon fun run relay style yesterday (in tutu's) at 7 a.m. Don't know how they'd do it without volunteers! Your sweetie looks like he's having so much fun in the kitchen! You'll have to take a picture of the Noodle Dream after cooking!

  2. I am grateful to be home. After driving all over creation this last weekend I am enjoying my own space (and my own cats, who missed me - and my ability to feed them - horribly).

  3. I am grateful for a great vacation week spent with my family. I was feeling burned out and sorry for myself for being so busy at work. I think I'm ready to return tomorrow with a fresh outlook and a higher energy level.
