Today is the one-year anniversary of Hoover's passing. It would have been his 14th birthday if the osteosarcoma hadn't won. We will always miss you, our first Furry Golden Sunshine.
Oh, he was beautiful! Did I tell you I have a spoodle (cocker x poodle)? I'll have to share on my blog one day. Anyway, we considered a Golden Retriever, and everytime you write about Daisy and Hoover, I'm reminded just how beautiful they are. We have some Furry Golden Sunshine friends down at our local park. :-) Michelle.
I'm filling up already. You never forget those special firsts do you. We lost our precious first rescue dog, and first spaniel just after Christmas this year (aged 16) but her legacy is three more rescued dogs (Yup! She was THAT good...) and a permanent home in my conservatory so that I can "chat" to her every day. Gone, but never forgotten eh. Thinking of you and sending you virtual hugs. Lauren x
My goodness, it's really been a year? What a beautiful boy he was. I know that you miss him terribly. What a blessing that you have a precious Daisy to help fill your house with smiles and laughter - she is so sweet! Hugs, dear friend, you and your family will be in my 'special' prayers today!
What a beautiful dog and I can tell how much you love and miss him. I re-read your tribute to him last summer. Tears. Super pictures. Thanks for sharing; I agree dogs give unconditional love. Wish all humans would too. I miss my dog, but my kitty helps. Hugs, Jeanne

ReplyDeleteGive Daisy lots of cuddles today. That is a wonderful photo and I am sure you have lots more to remind you of Hoover.
ReplyDeleteWow - what a beautiful dog! Looks like a postcard :)
