Gratitude Journal #28

Today, I am grateful for

*husbands who take cool photos of ice crystals on trees (will post when he remembers to send me one from his computer)

*bruises rather than broken bones on a seven-year-old who has decided he is really a monkey

*a repaired car

*books

What are you grateful for today?

  1. Hi Susan -
I usually limit my comments to your lovely and delightful stamping blog, but today feels gratitude-y, so...
Today was the first day of our winter semester (I teach at a community college), and I'm grateful for meeting two classes of eager-looking writers and readers. I'm also grateful for the ones who look less than eager. Makes me work harder.
And, on a side note, I've decided to join in the word of the year fun. Mine is "proceed." I tend to have many many ideas and plans -- and they remain plans. So, this year I plan to push myself to go ahead and do something with all those plans. Hence, proceed.
    Thanks for the inspiration!!

  2. Hello Susan,
I am grateful that my husband collapsed at the tennis club and that there were two doctors and a defibrillator on site. I'm grateful that he has come through quadruple by-pass triple by-pass operation. And I'm grateful that he was his usually grumpy self when I visited him in hopital last night - he's on the mend! I'm grateful that I read your blog - it's kept me in a positive mind frame over the last two weeks. I hope your Uncle Herb is on the mend too. My word for 2010 is change...

  4. I'm grateful EVERY day for having found this place to organize my flighty brain and give it peace and hope. It's as if there's a cozy fire burning, steam is rising off the tea, the rocking chair is super-comfy, and whatever you're talking about is just what I needed to hear today. Thanks for being you!
