What a great list! If your word isn’t on here, please accept my apologies. Leave another comment, and I’ll add it.
To help us get started with our words, I've chosen both an inspirational quotation and a motivational quotation today:
"I dwell in possibility…." Emily Dickinson
"Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work." Thomas Edison
My word for this year is CREATE.
ReplyDeleteLast night I picked Focus. Happy to se it was also on your post.
ReplyDeleteYeah, Lisa! Focus is a great theme for the year.
ReplyDeleteGina, I knew I had misplaced several words in the mess that is my email inbox, so thanks for reminding me. I'm so sorry!
Susan
My word is memories. I want to focus on documenting old memories, especially before the story can't be told any longer. And secondly, not forge that it's still important to always be creating new memories, as well!
ReplyDeleteSusan, what a good idea. I'd really like to continue being bold this year :o)
ReplyDeleteBlessings
My word is BELIEVE...
ReplyDeleteGreat quote:
"Faith makes things possible.... but not easy."
Another wonderful verse:
"Be strong and courageous and get to work. Don't be frightened by the size of the task, for the Lord my God is with you; He will not forsake you. He will see to it that everything is finished correctly" - 1Chronicles 28:20 (TLB)
I have really found strength, comfort and focus in these two quotes.
Blessings,
Marilyn in Rainy Texas
(from out of the brrrrr and into the wet... oh, well... it just is)
Oh I think I said Hope earlier, but now I have Wonder. Hope I will continue to carry and Wonder I will nurture into being!!!
ReplyDeleteMy word is Optimistic. I was also auditioning faithful, fearless (yeah, what a copycat), bold and enthusiastic. Thanks for doing this!
ReplyDeleteMy word for this year is "INSPIRE." I want to inspire people to be creative and active this year. :)
ReplyDeleteSusan, my word for this year is "Simplify". I have a need to simplify my life after this disastrous past year, to hold on to what's important and let go of what's not. To simplify so that I might begin life anew. To simplify and find a way to breathe again.
