Gratitude Journal #236

Today, I am grateful for coffee (again).

Today, I am grateful for spring rain and green lawns and the man and boy in my life who mow.

Today, I am grateful for Christ, who strengthens me.

Today, I am grateful for email.

What are you grateful for today?

  1. SO grateful for SO many things this past week.

My son did a great job reffing 11 games at a soccer tournament this weekend and got good feedback on how he was doing.

My mom's 80th birthday was yesterday and we had a great time celebrating

For my hubby who made the most amazing brunch for my mom's 80th

For my daughter who is a great cat sitter for friends of ours and who goes above and beyond by visiting and feeding etc.

For the fabulous week of weather we have had.

For the explosion of rhodos blooming in our yard

For hubby's hard work cleaning out the front flower beds - they look amazing

For my gorgeous moss hanging baskets that are starting to bloom and look amazing (thank you Costco!)

For a great sermon at church on Sunday

For our cat that give endless love and loves to snuggle and sleep on your lap.

    I am truly blessed :)

  2. I'm thankful for my gorgeous clematis vine. I've always wanted one and now that we are in our new house, that was the first thing planted. Stunning!

I'm thankful for earning a fantastic promotion this week! It is very deserved (if I say so), and it will get me away from a soulless, awful, micromanager boss who has, literally, given me ulcers. In a couple months, I hope to be thankful for better health! :0)

I'm thankful for you and your blogs.

I'm thankful for Spring weather, finally.

I'm thankful for my husband, a wonderful, supportive, funny man.

    I'm a lucky girl!

  3. I really wanted to have a pity party as I wrote yearly check for the studio I'm renting. I pay for the whole year, so it's a lot of money. For the past 35 years, I've own my own home(s) and the big checks went to the mortgage. Paying rent makes me sad.
Then I have to sit back and remember to be grateful for Ben renting to me and my big fur baby Annie when I was just weeks away from losing her because I couldn't find a place that would let me have her. That I now live on two acres just a stone throws away from the main hub of silicon valley (Apple head quarters are just minutes away). I'm grateful that I just have to walk up the street and I'm in the open space trails that allows dogs. Grateful that my landlord let's me do whatever makes me happy to the landscaping around the studio. I still hate to see my bank account drain away but grateful I have a bank account with money in it!
