Gratitude Journal #155

Today, I am grateful to be back blogging.

Today, I am grateful for George, who has held down the fort for almost a month and been such a sweetheart about my being sick. He's cooked, mowed, assembled a trampoline, rescued an injured dove, taken care of the kids, and taken care of me. You rock, honey!

Today, I am grateful for golden retrievers who find sunbeams.

Today, I am grateful for trampolines. I can hear George and the boys jumping through the open windows. Joy and laughter. And bouncing.

Today, I am grateful for fresh air and open windows and cool breezes and the beginning of The Change of Seasons. Oh, how I love fall!

What are you grateful for today?

  1. Today I'm grateful for my two older brothers. Helping my mom navigate care for her husband (our step dad). Don't know what I would do without them.

  2. I'm grateful for a warm fall breeze. I'm grateful for my husband who, told me yesterday that he would do the dishes...knowing that I wanted to craft. Sweet! Also grateful for a sky full of bright stars when I left for work this morning.
I'm so glad that you asked, Susan. Because the more I think about it, the more things I'm grateful for.

  3. Today I am grateful for friends who have stamping parties! I've had a dry spell and tonight's gathering has lit a spark in me that's been out too long.

  4. Today I am grateful for pseudoephedrine. I wouldn't be at work today without it. One of my daughter the chemistry major's favorite comments is, "Better living throught chemistry".

Why does the weather change give me a sinus headache?

I am grateful for my rice bag and my microwave; it was tempting to move the microwave next to my bed yesterday.

I am grateful for a quiet house and being able to sleep it off.
