Just as I decide I'm too old to wear message t-shirts, I find this:
Mental Floss T-Shirts
My favorites?
Hyperbole is the best thing ever. [Note: this is the new tagline for QmI!]
Ambiguity: What happens in Vagueness Stays in Vagueness
I'd give my right arm to be ambidextrous.
I'm an English Major. You do the math.
I avoid cliches like the plague.
Which ones are YOUR favorites?
My brother has been reading that magazine for years! He makes us do the Mental Floss quiz as a group when we have our big family dinners! We are an eclectic bunch! BTW - his favorite is the Fibonacci shirt and mine is the Apple a Day.
ReplyDeleteA friend gave me sub for Christmas this year, and I am thoroughly enjoying it!
ReplyDelete"What if there were no hypothetical questions?"
ReplyDelete"Everybody generalizes from one example. At least, I do."
Both from Steven Brust I believe. (I know the second is, not sure about the first.)

Thanks, Jot! *chuckle*
ReplyDeleteI like all your favorites, and I also like "Apathy: I can take it or leave it" and "Inconsistency: It has its ups and downs." And "Entropy: It isn't what it used to be." And the palindrome one. And Veni, Vidi, Wiki--that was good! Can you tell I liked a lot of them? Thanks for the laughs!
