Gratitude Journal #127

Today, I am grateful for the Oscars. Best line of the night came from Billy Crystal, who said, "Nothing can take the sting out of the world's economic problems like millionaires presenting each other golden statues." Ohmygosh, I love me some Billy Crystal at the Oscars!

Today, I am grateful for finding a new theme song in church yesterday. A very talented teen sang This Is the Stuff, and I'm learning the song for myself. Not that anyone wants to hear me sing it, but I'd like to get that chorus in my head for times like last night, when I couldn't find the cable remote and OSCAR was on! You can see the official video of the song HERE.

Today, I am grateful for shelf liner, bag clips, and other useful stuff.

Today, I am grateful for sunshine.

What are you grateful for today?

  1. That song is one of my daughter's favorite. Francesca Boteselli has so many great songs. Today I'm grateful for a hubby that loves to cook and makes great meals. Also thankful for our cat - gives lots of love, drives me crazy at times, and it such a part of the family.

  3. I am grateful for a neighbor who called my cell phone number repeatedly so I could find the lost phone by just following the sound! Thanks Ed.

  4. I saw an item on Pinterest yesterday. It said something like "Imagine if you woke up today and only had what you thanked God for yesterday". What a great reminder not to take things for granted!

  5. I am grateful for CPA's. My taxes are supposed to be "simple"; but I must be simpler.

I am grateful for steady rain today. Our rivers and lakes need water.

I am grateful for leftovers. I am already looking forward to some creamy chicken wild rice soup for lunch. It makes the morning bearable to have a good lunch to look forward to.

    I am grateful for family.
