Words, Words, Words about Size
I worked in marketing for years. I know why Starbuck's calls a small coffee tall and a medium coffee grande.
I know, I know, I know.
And I refuse to go there. I refuse to use such manipulatively inaccurate language.
So when I first saw this photo, my response was an enthusiastic YES!

You are a goddess! I totally agree with this post! I avoid SB like the plague, because they make me feel stOOpid when I try to order! Not to mention that while I love a good cup of strong coffee, their coffee tastes like battery acid! Aaahhh...that felt so good - thanks Susan!

ReplyDeleteOh, I so agree with you. I don't go into Starbucks very often so I can never remember which size is which. My way of quietly rebelling against such silly language is to just say "small" or "medium" and let the staff do the translation into their language!
