Today, I am grateful for honey and herb tea and throat spray and lozenges. My boy has a sore throat.
Today, I am grateful that George made something relatively light for dinner last night because, you know, it IS possible to use too much bacon in a recipe.

I am grateful for a husband who will eat almost anything. His lunch is a hodgepodge of leftovers today and he won't mind.
Nice neighbors! Today, I am grateful for a clear, crisp day to make the drive to VA to spend the week with my mother for her 86th birthday. I am grateful to have my mother. I am grateful to my dear husband for understanding that I want to be with her and that it's a special treat for it to be just the two of us, so we can share memories and talk about people he never knew.

ReplyDeleteI am grateful that my boys (includes my husband) had fun skiing yesterday and came back safely.
I am grateful that I had the day to myself and created 4 1/2 cards from pieces that have been lying around forever.
I am grateful that school started again after a week of vacation and that my kids are healthy and could go.
I am grateful that I have a computer and that it runs smoothly (even though I probably spend too much time on it).
I am grateful for a functioning washing machine because I do not like handwashing things.

Very grateful for friends who are there when the waves of depression want to over take me. Lots going on in my life right now and without them I don't know what I would do. Grateful for those talks on the phone and words of encouragement. Plan of action and not all pity party stuff.

ReplyDeleteI'm grateful for the rhododendrons and crocuses that are popping up. This will be my second spring in the Northwest, and I'm so excited to see all the lovely flowers.
