Gratitude Journal #128

Today, I am grateful for honey and herb tea and throat spray and lozenges. My boy has a sore throat.

Today, I am grateful that George made something relatively light for dinner last night because, you know, it IS possible to use too much bacon in a recipe.

Today, I am grateful for neighbors who stop by and introduce themselves.

Today, I am grateful for clean wood floors.

Today, I am grateful for rest.

What are you grateful for today?

  1. I am grateful for my daughter and son-in-laws safe return from a trip to Boston.

I am grateful for 2 hours in my craft room yesterday organizing and straightening.

I am grateful for a husband who will eat almost anything. His lunch is a hodgepodge of leftovers today and he won't mind.

  2. Nice neighbors! Today, I am grateful for a clear, crisp day to make the drive to VA to spend the week with my mother for her 86th birthday. I am grateful to have my mother. I am grateful to my dear husband for understanding that I want to be with her and that it's a special treat for it to be just the two of us, so we can share memories and talk about people he never knew.

  3. Every night I think of five things that I am grateful for. Today I am writing them down for others to see because I like your Gratitude Journal, Susan.

I am grateful that my boys (includes my husband) had fun skiing yesterday and came back safely.

I am grateful that I had the day to myself and created 4 1/2 cards from pieces that have been lying around forever.

I am grateful that school started again after a week of vacation and that my kids are healthy and could go.

I am grateful that I have a computer and that it runs smoothly (even though I probably spend too much time on it).

I am grateful for a functioning washing machine because I do not like handwashing things.

  4. Today I am grateful that my son is feeling better so he can face his exams this week a little more clearly.
Today I am grateful for the sunshine and warmth before tomorrow's snow.
Today I am grateful for time to doing things that need doing!

  5. Very grateful for friends who are there when the waves of depression want to over take me. Lots going on in my life right now and without them I don't know what I would do. Grateful for those talks on the phone and words of encouragement. Plan of action and not all pity party stuff.
Finding a great blog like this, to make my day a little brighter.

  6. Wait. What? Too much bacon?! I've never heard of such a thing!

I'm grateful for the rhododendrons and crocuses that are popping up. This will be my second spring in the Northwest, and I'm so excited to see all the lovely flowers.

Thanks so much for taking time to comment!
