Today, I am grateful for Christmas trees, lights, nativity scenes, and reindeer landing lights. Most of all, I'm grateful for the Reason for the Season: Jesus Christ.
Today, I am grateful for skilled labor and the amazing things people can do with their hands.
Today, I am grateful for this picture from Pinterest.
The maker of this fabulous project even used a semicolon properly, for which I am thankful.
Blessings to you all.
What are you grateful for today?
- Parking spaces
ReplyDelete- Quiet shopping (I was the only person in the grocery store this morning!)
- Fabric found after months of looking
- Scrumptious kebab bagettes
- Protection under God's wing
- Evening light
LOVE the quote from Pinterest.
ReplyDeleteToday I'm happy for:
- getting my Christmas decorations up over the weekend
- getting my Christmas letter typed so just have to address cards now
- Sushi for dinner last night
- Our cat who snuggles and sleeps in your lap
- a nap yesterday afternoon
Today I am grateful for the wonderful hummus I picked up at the spur of moment while I was out doing errands at lunch. It's from our local arabic deli. Slightly garlicky, lemoney and so creamy with fresh pita bread.
ReplyDeleteI am grateful to live in the greater Detroit area where we have so many choices of wonderful ethnic food. A good friend was transferred to Ohio with her husband's job. Her greatest lament is the lack of interesting food.
I am grateful for my relatively new seat at work where I can look out the window and see the lovely snow flurries coming down. I KNOW it will make driving home pure hell; but I can still appreciate how beautiful it is.
Today I am grateful for you Susan. Your blog gets me thinking in the morning. I love grateful Mondays. I am grateful for my wonderful life every single day; but I don't express it often enough.
I am grateful for a hot cup of green tea on this cold morning.
ReplyDeleteI am grateful for a day off from work to be able to decorate my home.
I am grateful for the humor you add to my day (your semi colon remark just made me chuckle!)
Love the quote. Just posted it on my blog too!
ReplyDelete"Reindeer landing lights?"
ReplyDeleteToday I am thankful that DH's biopsy was negative. I am thankful for tickets to the Dave Koz Christmas concert tonight and a restaurant.com discount coupon towards dinner beforehand, without the shadow of that test hanging over our heads.
I am thankful for the wonderful Messiah concert at church last Sunday. What a wonderful way to start the Christmas season.
