Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.” (2 Timothy 4:3) Leave it to the Bible to render this amazingly accurate description of our culture today. Always reminds me that it is late in the day, indeed.bergfam5@cox.netnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4432615092204334311.post-85560804135026208812011-05-28T03:44:44.054-04:002011-05-28T03:44:44.054-04:00I love books best, but the Kindle does come in han...I love books best, but the Kindle does come in handy when travelling . . . can take my bible, dictionary, concordance, plus as many books as I want without adding bulk and weight!

Signs of end-times . . . wars, floods, tsunami's, earthquakes, tornados, tough times for women and children.
JanetAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4432615092204334311.post-34387995100887574402011-05-27T22:39:41.708-04:002011-05-27T22:39:41.708-04:00My almost 19 year old daughter recently started us...My almost 19 year old daughter recently started using "probs" and "totes" instead of "probably" and "totally". And this week, when I chose not to take my Kindle with me to 5th grade camp, where I went as a chaperone with my daughter, my (lack of) Kindle saved my sanity. When the girls in my cabin were driving me to the brink and I needed a few moments of peace, I was able to find a corner and hop on my cell phone Kindle app and read a few pages of my book in progress. Crisis averted, no sweet children maimed.
