Every week there is something that makes me think you are a "kindred spirit" despite a world of difference between our experiences & situation (metaphorically & literally given that I'm writing from New Zealand!). I have resisted commenting to date, but your Bridget Jones story has brought me out of hiding as I had a very similar experience whilst reading the same book. I was on a bus, not in a coffee shop.
